William “Billy” Joseph Mathis

William “Billy” Joseph Mathis, 56, of DeRidder, LA passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023.  Visitation will be Thursday, November 2 from 10-11am at Christway Church.  Funeral service will be Thursday, November 2 at 11am at Christway Church.  Interment will be at Rosepine Cemetery.  Rev. Vic Warrick, Pastor Kennis Smith, and Rev. Buddy Freeman will officiate. Billy is survived by his wife of 34 years, Tina Mathis of DeRidder, LA; three sons, Ty Mathis, Hayden Mathis, and Evan Mathis all of DeRidder, LA; two sisters, Therese Reeves & Tim of DeRidder, LA and Donna Travis & Clint of DeRidder, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dewitt & Joel Mathis; brother, Dewitt Mathis, Jr.; and daughter, Dorothy Jo. Condolences can be made at chaddickfuneralhome.com
