Sophia Kimberly Wells, 78, of DeRidder, LA passed away Thursday, September 17, 2026. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 23 from 11am-2pm at Chaddick Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 23 at 2pm at Chaddick Funeral Home. Interment will be at Beauregard Cemetery. Rev. George Lee Glass will officiate.

Sophia is survived by her son, Edward Lewis of Baton Rouge, LA; daughter, Michelle Grimmer of Ann Arbor, MI; seven grandchildren, Ariel Lewis of DeRidder, LA, Katelyn Lewis of Baton Rouge, LA, Tayven Lewis of Baton Rouge, LA, Ashley Fletcher of Dayton, OH, Candace Knox of Oklahoma, Madeline Bailey of Chicago, IL, and Seth Robison of Missouri; four great-grandchildren; life partner, Greg McMahon of DeRidder, LA; three sisters, Do Thi Vien, Do Thi Phuong, and Do Thi Thuy; and three brothers, Do Van Tuong, Do Van Dung, and Do Van Ai all of Vietnam.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mat & Huu Do; and two sisters, Do Thi Sang and Do Thi Kien.
