Rex "Butch" Joseph Angelle, Jr.

Rex "Butch" Joseph Angelle, Jr., 75, of Lafayette, LA passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026.  Visitation will be Monday, March 16 from 11am-1pm at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be Monday, March 16 at 1pm at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Rosepine Cemetery.  Rev. Gary Bankson will officiate.

Butch is survived by his wife of 50 years, Debra Angelle of Lafayette, LA; two children, Autumn Angelle Sanchez & Orlando of Lafayette, LA and Rex Angelle, III & Lucy of Lafayette, LA; five grandchildren, Jordan, Briel, Cayson, Kehlani, and Isleya; one great-grandson, Jace; and sister, Della Angelle of Tennessee.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Rex & Ann Angelle; and two sisters, Mary Angelle and Michele Angelle.

Butch had a great passion for hunting and fishing.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who cherished his family and friends.
