Naomi Gomer Brown McDade

Naomi Gomer McDade, 91, of Leesville, LA, passed away Monday, December 8, 2025. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 9 from 6-8pm at The Church International in Rosepine. Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 10 at 2pm at The Church International in Rosepine. Interment will be at Rosepine Cemetery. Rev. Greg Crawford and Rev. Charlie Williams will officiate. 

Naomi is survived by her children, Tammy Fletcher & Phillip of Leesville, LA, Bonnie Miller & Dale of Lake Providence, LA, Charles M. McDade & Debbie of Sulphur, LA, Scotty McDade & Laura of Rosepine, LA, and Kevin McDade & Danyelle of DeRidder, LA; seventeen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Dean McDade; daughter, Sue Williams; son-in-law, Bennie Williams; parents, Gilbeaux Lance Brown, Sr. and Silvor Elvira Van Osdol Brown; and siblings, Mary Ruth McLellan Roach, Alma Trahan, Docia Mae Lott, Jean Johnson, Guilbeaux Brown, Jr., John Brown, James Brown, Janice Duncan, Deana Maddox, and Charlotte Brown.

Naomi was known for her work at West Brothers and Beauregard Memorial Hospital in DeRidder, LA. She was a devoted and active member of The Church International in Rosepine for many years. Naomi loved to sing, and she was often found singing in the dining hall of The Woodlands Healthcare Center. Her family and friends love and cherish her memory.
