Karen Sue Simmonsen, 71, of Rosepine, LA passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Visitation will be Saturday, February 14 from 11am-1pm at Chaddick Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be Saturday, February 14 at 1pm at Chaddick Funeral Home. Bro. Joe Maddox will officiate.
Karen is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert "Bob" Simmonsen of Rosepine, LA; three children, Robby Simmonsen & Katie of Slagle, LA, David Simmonsen & Jennifer of Houston, TX, and Rebekah Wasek & Joseph of El Paso, TX; six grandchildren, Navaeh Simmonsen, Brielle Simmonsen, Kyndsi Wasek, Mollie Wasek, Addelyn Wasek, and Ryker Wasek; sister, Deborah "Bitsy" Walter & Leonard of Rosepine, LA; and brother, Randy Perry & Deborah of Rosepine, LA.
She is preceded in death by her parents, A.J. "Dink" & Lurline Perry.
