Joseph Timothy Seal

Joseph Timothy Seal, 65, of Lake Village, AR passed away Saturday, April 18, 2026. Visitation will be Friday, April 24 from 4-8pm at The Pentecostals of Mittie Church. Funeral service will be Saturday, April 25 at 11am at The Pentecostals of Mittie Church. Interment will be at Cherry Grove Cemetery. Bro. Craig Hill will officiate.

He was a retired tool pusher and onsite oil rig senior supervisor and was of the Catholic faith. Joseph enjoyed collecting classic vehicles, cooking for his family, watching action movies, fixing vehicles and maintaining his yard. He also loved eating out and shopping with his wife Forsythia. He was their MacGyver who was very intelligent, resourceful and a sharp troubleshooter. In addition to his parents, Earnest and Bertha Seal, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James Leon Seal and Felix Dwight Seal; and one sister, Paula Seal.

His is survived by his wife, Forsythia Seal of Monticello, AR; daughter, Constance Mahaffey Manuel and husband, Byron of Oakdale, LA; son, Timothy Jake Seal and wife Shanna of Grant, LA; two step daughters, Shari Evangelista and Abri Evangelista; three brothers, Eric Wayne Seal and wife Pat of Amarillo, TX, Tony Seal and wife Sheron of Mittie, LA and Terry Seal and wife Veronica of Mittie, LA; two sisters, Joan Burnett and husband Harold, and Kathy Coe and husband James all of Mittie, LA; six grandchildren, Hunter, Julietta, Kathryn, Darren, Chip and Mallie; along with his three puppies, Booda, Cookie and Juno who were like his children.
