John Edward White, Sr.

John Edward White, Sr., 72, of DeRidder, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 in DeRidder.  Visitation will be Tuesday, February 21, from 11am-8pm at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 22, at 2pm at Chaddick’s.  Interment will be at Sugartown Cemetery.  Rev. Ray Rainwater, Jr. will officiate. John is survived by his wife, Dorthea White of Sugartown; two daughters, Debra Parks & fiancé Russell Stauffer of Lake Charles, and Telisa Ann Pooler & Jayson of DeRidder; three sons, John Edward White, Jr. & Elizabeth of Krum ,TX, Kelvin White & fiancé Jackie Wehr of DeRidder, and Steven Todd White, Sr. & Debbie of Skidmore, TX; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, James Clavon White & Peggy of DeRidder. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar & Maebell White; two sisters, Judy Fontenot and Trudy Silva; and three brothers, Edgar Mitchell White, Earl E. White, and Lonnie C. White.
