Jeri Gill Halston, 79, of DeRidder, LA passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2026. Visitation will be Sunday, September 6 from 1:30pm-3pm at Smyrna Baptist Church. Celebration of Life will be Sunday, September 6 at 3pm at Smyrna Baptist Church. Interment will be at Smyrna Cemetery. Rev. Frank Ott, Sr. and Rev. Tim Lee will officiate.
Jeri is survived by her brother, Harvey Gill, Jr. & Pam; two nieces, Michelle Miller and Roxann Miller; two stepsons, Phillip Kresge and Jacob Kresge; sister-in-law, Marsha Mamdani & Nizar; and best friend, Kathern Hollifield.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey, Sr. & Mildred Gill; and husband, Spering Kresge.
