Jason Mitchell Brooks

Jason Mitchell Brooks, 38, of DeRidder, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014.  Visitation will be Thursday, October 2, from 6-8pm at Chaddick Funeral Home and Friday, October 3, from 9am until time of service at Rosepine United Pentecostal Church.  Funeral service will be Friday, October 3, at 11am at Rosepine United Pentecostal Church.  Interment will be at Rosepine Cemetery.  Rev. Gary Bankson and Rev. Carlos Hall will officiate. Jason is survived by his mother and stepfather, Cherylan & Lucien Bertrand of Rosepine; father and stepmother, Robert & Melissa Brooks of Clearbrook, VA; two daughters, Bobbie Jolene Brooks and Frankie Suzanne Brooks of Rosepine; three sons, Dustin Mitchell Brooks of Rosepine, Brennon Michael Brooks of Rosepine, and Aiden Wayne Brooks of Oakdale; two sisters, Stacy Lynn Lewis & Gerald of Rosepine, and Tessa Liann Slaydon & Owen of Amarillo, TX; three brothers, Brad Allen Williams & Teryn of Magnolia, AR, James Robert Brooks & Brittany of Anchorage, AK, and Jared Michael Brooks of Clearbrook, VA; maternal grandparents, Clyde & Audrey Grimes of Rosepine, and paternal grandmother, Irene LeBee of Zwolle, LA.
