James "Jim" H. Stevenson, 70, of DeRidder, LA, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026, at Harbor Hospice in Lake Charles, LA. He was born on May 2, 1955 in Tucson, AZ, to Charles and Tobie Stevenson.
Jim is survived by his wife of 38 years, Karen Stevenson of DeRidder, LA; son, Charles Stevenson & Katie of Lake Charles, LA; daughter, Kaitlyn Messmer & Bryan of Kansas City, KS; three granddaughters, Camille, Emma, and Ellie; brother, Sam Stevenson & Susan of Kingsport, TN; niece, Tara Campbell & Michael of Kingsport, TN; and nephew, Jeffrey Stevenson & Gregory of Baltimore, MD.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Tobie Stevenson.
