James Melvin Godeaux

James Melvin Godeaux, 78, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at his home.  Visitation will be Friday, August 10 from 5-8pm at Woodlands Church.  Funeral service will be Saturday, August 11 at 10am at Woodlands Church.  Rev. David Lily will officiate. James is survived by his wife, Judy Godeaux of Longville, LA; three daughters, Jo-Elena Godeaux Deville & Anthony “Tony” of Longville, LA, Julee Godeaux LaFleur & David of Ragley, LA, and Jenna Godeaux Solis & Teodoro Conrado III of Kingwood, TX; one stepson, Shane Jeans & Cassie of Merryville, LA; mother of his children, Jo-Elena Venable of Ragley, LA; ten grandchildren, AJ Deville & Kelly, Krystal Deville & fiance Jay, David LaFleur & Jennifer, James LaFleur & Halie, Joshua LaFleur & Kelsey, Derick LaFleur & Hope, Steven James Domingue & Chelsea, Sean Parker, Lillie Jeans, and Rosie Jeans; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Blanche Cole & Mickey of Ragley, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
