In Loving Memory Of Pastor Minnie Francis Parrott

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Minnie Francis Parrott, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who peacefully departed from this life on January 6, 2025, at the age of 76. Francis was born on September 2, 1948, in Leesville, LA. Francis was a woman of remarkable strength, grace, and compassion. Known for her unwavering love for her family and friends, she lived a life dedicated to others, always ready to offer a kind word, a helping hand, or a listening ear. Her love for community service, cooking, family, and worshipping the Lord was evident throughout her life, and her legacy will be carried on by all those she touched. Francis is survived by her husband of 50 years, Fred Parrott; children, Byron Parrott & LaShawna, and Brandon Parrott & Allie; grandchildren, Chauncee Flint & Tim, Breland Parrott & Sherrie, D’Alan Hickman; five great grandchildren; siblings, Micheal Jefferson & Renee’, and Naomi Matthews & Richard; sisters-in-law, Johnnie Griffin & Roland,Lola Martin, and Gayle Taylor; brothers-in-law, Charles Parrott and Darryl Parrott; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Emma Jefferson and Elbert Monroe Sr.; siblings, Grady Fisher, Donald Ray Monroe, Elbert Monroe Jr., and Jeffery Monroe; and daughter, Angelia Hickman. Visitation will be Friday, January 17 from 5-8pm at Disciples Of Jesus Christ Outreach. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 18 at 11am at Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church, preceded by a visitation beginning at 10am until time of service. Interment will be at Beauregard Cemetery. Rev. Dr. Elliot W. Ford will officiate. Services have been entrusted to Chaddick Funeral Home. Floral arrangements are being accepted and may be sent to Chaddick Funeral Home at 1931 N Pine St, DeRidder, LA. However, in lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Disciples of Jesus Christ Outreach Center (911 Ollie St, DeRidder, LA) or Cash App/Zelle (337) 348-6826.
