Gwana Gwendete Bolden, 53, of DeRidder, LA passed away Friday, June 27, 2025. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 8 from 11am-1pm at Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 8 at 1pm at Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will be at Beauregard Cemetery. Rev. Alvin Peters, Sr. will officiate.

Gwana is survived by her siblings: Tonya Dunn, Mougli Bradley, Sofola Roberson, Tanwaniki Roberson, Clasi Roberson, George Roberson, Jr. and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Joseph Manning, Emma Manning, Shellie Gatson, & Jessie Gatson; parents: George Roberson, Sr. and Clara Prater; and children: Danny Roberson, Iesha Bolden, & Joe Bolden, Jr.
