Gary Wayne Dickens

Gary Wayne Dickens, 71, of DeRidder, LA passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026.  Visitation will be Friday, February 6 from 10am-1pm at Grace Church.  Funeral service will be Friday, February 6 at 1pm at Grace Church.  Interment will be at Whitaker Cemetery.  Rev. George Lee Glass will officiate.

Gary is survived by his four sons, Jerry Wayne Dickens of Texas, Terry Wayne Dickens of Cameron, LA, Edward Lee Dickens & Heather of DeRidder, LA and William Lawrance Keim Slaydon & Laken of DeRidder, LA; eighteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three sisters, Barbara Dickens LaBombard of DeRidder, LA, Bobbie Dickens of DeRidder, LA and Sandra Dickens of Alexandria, LA; and two fur babies, Apollo and Daphne.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ervin & Obie Dickens; five sisters, Shirley Dickens, Cathy Dickens, Brenda Dickens, Debra Dickens and Sherry Dickens; and three brothers, Ervin Dickens, Ricky Dickens and David Dickens.
