Ernest Lloyd Johnson, 93, of Pitkin, LA passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2025.  Visitation will be Friday, July 4 from 9am-1pm at Mt. Olive Baptist Church.  Funeral service will be Friday, July 4 at 1pm at Mt. Olive Baptist Church.  Interment will be at Blue Branch Cemetery.  Rev. Russell L. Johnson will officiate.

Ernest is survived by his two daughters, Gale Rich of Beeville, TX and Connie White & Greg of Pitkin, LA; four sons, Carlton Johnson & Belinda of Sevierville, TN, Jimmie Johnson & Donna of Mountainview, WY, Russell Johnson & Amy of Fairview, OK, and Clint Johnson & Niki of Blackfoot, ID; twenty-nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Norma Martin of Pitkin, LA, Jewel "Bob" Doyle of Pitkin, LA, Christine Wright of Houston, TX, and Earlene Seal of Woodworth, LA; two brothers, Edward Johnson of Pitkin, LA and Chris Johnson & Melanie of Houma, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Johnson; parents, Claiborn & Edwina Johnson; daughter, Becky Johnson; son, Randy Johnson; sisters, Audrey Droddy and Gloria "Tootsie" Stephens; and brothers, Wallace Johnson and Raymond Johnson.
